The Great Gatsby is an interesting book with several mysteries within the plot, characters, and structure. The only issue I have with this book is that it is very boring and does not really catch my attention. The language used in the book can be mostly considered modern but at certain parts, I end up losing track of what the author was trying to convey. Unlike many other books I've read in the past, The Great Gatsby had a quick start and introduction to the book. After reading a few chapters, you would find the actual content of the actual story. Typically in most of the other books I've read, you would find that they all would have a slow and boring start that never reaches the beginning of the rising action until you got to the middle of the book. This makes the story very dry and gives the reader a reason to stop reading that book.
While reading The Great Gatsby, I have made some predictions of what might happen in the future of the plot. One of my predictions is that around the end of the book, Gatsby would finally get
with Daisy and they would live a happy life with each other. But with this prediction is a more negative outcome of their relationship where Gatsby messes up with Daisy and they never see or speak to each other again. Another prediction I made is that as time goes on in the book, Gatsby will become more well known and would improve as a person. What I mean by this is that Gatsby would end up acting more mature and social in front of different people he may not have spoken to in the past. In conclusion, I do want to see where the relationship between Gatsby and Daisy goes but I hope that the book/story becomes a slight bit more interesting to read.
