The End of the Year and The Beginning of Summer - Anthony Henry

Wow... this school year was quite interesting and unique. When I came back to CPA in the middle of the school year I was expecting the same amount of work as previous years and more stress put onto me since I knew I was back at a fast-paced school. To my surprise, things were a lot easier and laid back compared to what I thought it would be. After many months of procrastinating and working hard at the last minute, we all hit the weeks of state testing. Honestly, the ELA state tests seemed to be quite easy as I did not end up stuck on any questions or parts of an essay. On the other hand, the Algebra 1 state tests were quite challenging for me as I got stuck on several problems mainly on the first section of the test. I do still feel confident that I got a good grade on the test despite getting stuck on a few questions. A couple of weeks later, prom took place. To me, the prom was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed my time there with my friends. The location looked beautiful as the vista of the plain open field meeting the horizon made for an amazing sight. And finally, the last week of school is here, we are all preparing to say goodbye to some of the people who are leaving to another school. Luckily, I and my closest friends are planning on staying at CPA all the way until our high school graduation. In two days we are going to Kings Island which is something I am incredibly excited about as I get to ride my favorite rides in the park with my closest friends. All in all, I'd say that this was a great school year and I hope that my sophomore year will be even better.Image result for kings islandImage result for kings island
